Youth empowerment

Many youth have left school due to lack of finances and, therefore, find themselves in other desperate situations such as living in the streets, pregnant at an early age, or wasted completely. As a result, families end up broken and futures are lost.
Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then taking action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes.

Our program

At HRO we are developing programs aimed at empowering the youth to take charge of their own destinies and to become the forces of social change. We believe at introducing the activities that help them gain self-esteem, believe in themselves, and gain analytical and decision-making skills and general life skills.
The youth are the future, and we aim to empower them to reach their full potential through:
Leadership Development: Organizing workshops and seminars to instill values such as responsibility, integrity, and servant leadership. These programs prepare youth to lead with confidence and purpose.
Skill-Building Workshops: Offering practical training in areas such as tailoring, carpentry and joinery, computer, music production, entrepreneurship, etc. We ensure that youth have the tools to compete in today’s dynamic economy.
Mentorship Programs: Connecting young people with positive role models who guide, motivate, and inspire them to pursue their dreams while staying grounded in faith.
Community Service Initiatives: Encouraging youth to actively contribute to their communities through volunteer work, social impact projects, and advocacy. This fosters a sense of responsibility and a heart for service.
