Celebrating Hope with Street-Connected Children in Jinja, Uganda.

We had the pleasure of celebrating with street-connected children in Jinja, Uganda. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and hope as we partnered with other organizations to show these children that they are loved and valued.

Despite their difficult circumstances, the children showed resilience and an unbreakable spirit. We believe that every child deserves a safe and stable home, and that’s why we are working to reconnect them with their families and provide them with the basics.

We can’t do this alone. We need your support to continue this important work. By donating to our cause, you can help us provide these children with food, shelter, education, and medical care. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children.

Are you looking for a way to make a positive impact in the world? One way you can do that is by supporting street children ministry in Uganda, Hands of Restoration Outreach(HRO) . Many children in Uganda live on the streets without access to basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, and education. By supporting HRO, you can provide them with the tools they need to thrive.

As Matthew 25:40 says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” When you help a street child in Uganda, you are not only providing them with physical necessities but also sharing the love of Jesus with them. You have the power to make a difference in the lives of these children and help them build a better future.

Merry Christmas

Hello family!

Hope everyone is doing well as we head towards the season of celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are also summarizing the year’s activities at HRO. We would love to say that God has been gracious and good.

We were able to conduct an AGM (Annual General Meeting) where we gave an account of how things went this year. Here are a few of our successes:

– Children from the streets reconnected to their families and began attending school. We were able to share a meal with them and have some fellowship during the meeting.

– We reached out to communities, prisons and schools making disciples.

– We started sustainability projects to keep the ministry moving.

– And through those sustainability projects, some jobs were created for the less privileged.

Through your generosity, all the above and much more was achieved this year.

The new year is coming and this is only the beginning.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

*DID YOU KNOW??

In Uganda,Street children are a consequence of poverty, low education, abuse and lack of parenthood. Ward and Seager (2010) writes, “push-factors such as situations of abuse, domestic violence or poor family relationships are common among street children”.

That is why at HRO, our interest is to bridge the Gap.Our core is to reunite this kids with their families, create a healthy relationship and empower them through education while home.

Would this be the part of what you would be interested in? , Reach out to us to learn how you can get involved.

We want to share some appreciation for these fantastic ladies!

Mama Waiswa (left) & Mama Petu (right).

They have been helping our team with the HRO Sustainability Project. One woman is a widow and the other’s husband is in prison. They both are trying to take care of their children and have volunteered to work with us. We have been able to appreciate them by small provision for the work they have done, but the vision is that in the future we can fully employ them and many others in the community completely funded by the very project they are working on.

So we want to thank and appreciate these women who are believing in this mission! Being our supporters and working to see these things flourish and grow into something the entire community can benefit from!

A story from the street kids

Yes, our team is at work, doing what God has called us for through HRO.

There is a lot we can do together in the streets of Jinja.

Apparently, our key goal is to reunite these little ones with their families so they can get a chance to join school and enjoy the family love.

Would you want to support in any way, volunteer and be part, please write to us.

Back To School

Hello friends and family! We have a very special request to ask of you. Many of you have been following our ministry and the work that’s been happening in Uganda. We’ve taken 3 beautiful children under our wings to teach them lasting life skills, good work ethics, and open the doors to education. Education, however, is not freely given in Uganda. There’s school fees, uniforms, supplies, among other things to pay for.

We are intending to put our young man, Aksum, into boarding school this term. Through gracious generosity, he has almost enough to pay for his first term. He is in need of just $150 more to finish paying for everything by September 1st.

Then we have Abdu. He is close in age with Aksum, and he will be attending the local government school. He is in need of fees and supplies, approximately $200.

Finally, we have precious Shifra. A very young girl, who will also be attending local private school. She is also in need of fees and supplies, approximately $200.

Ultimately, our goal is to put all of our children into quality boarding schools.

We are looking to you. If any of these children stand out to you, please consider helping them. Any little bit helps. We are also looking for monthly supporters! You will get regular updates about the children you support and all donations are tax deductible! Please pray about it. Share about it. We need to send these children to school!

A New Month With New Blessings

A New Month With New Blessings❤️

We are so proud of our team in Uganda, they’ve been doing fantastic work this season!

We were able to begin a Sustainability Project. This project will grow all different vegetables with the intention of supporting various areas of ministry, such as:

•Providing food for outreach

•Feeding our staff and their families

•and Providing revenue for the organization

To top it off, this opportunity has also created employment for local jobless women!

Now, this project was started with the bare minimum. Meaning, the land is hired and the tools are borrowed. We need YOUR help!! We want to see this project grow and impact as many lives as possible, but we need the finances to purchase the tools, hire more land, and pay the amazing women who have offered their services. That’s where you come in. Everything helps. And the more support we receive, the faster this mission grows!
