Vulnerable Children
We provide street corner education and recreation opportunities, family mediation and reunification support to street children, who have often become estranged from their families after leaving home. We run safe spaces, child help desks and offer counselling for distressed and displaced children. This service also helps us to identify more acute needs that need specialist care.
Single Mothers
HRO intends to offer a formula to bridge the knowledge and skills gap that teenage and single mothers encounter in making their enterprises meet the needed success. Instead of working hard in the business and gaining nothing due to lack of knowledge, it’s important that these individuals work hard on themselves, be equipped with the necessary tools and skills for entrepreneurial development.
Youth Empowerment
At HRO we are developing programs aimed at empowering the youth to take charge of their own destinies and to become the forces of social change. We believe at introducing the activities that help them gain self-esteem, believe in themselves, and gain analytical and decision-making skills and general life skills.
Prisoners
HRO will step into the prison grounds with a breath of Hope in their lungs for these people. Through preaching in a group setting and one-on-one skill building classes, we will assist these people develop themselves and build their future. Some workshops we will run include: the education and creation of reusable pads, making sandals, individual discipleship, and much more!
